龍洞岩場經過數十年的發展，以及攀岩社群積極的自主管理，許多岩場公共事務，早已累積相當深厚的基礎與資源，為了更有效地整合這些資源與能量，並以更長遠的目標規劃龍洞岩場與攀岩社群的未來，我們決定在 2020 年正式成立全國性社團組織「臺灣戶外攀岩協會 | Taiwan Outdoor Climbers' Coalition」，希望藉此讓龍洞岩場的相關事務能有更健全的運作制度，並透過正式組織的身份與官方單位合作，以更完善的資源發展龍洞的攀岩活動，妥善管理這座全臺灣發展最完備的天然岩場。同時，也期望未來能夠以龍洞為範本，將「永續管理」的信念持續推廣到全臺各地的所有天然岩場。

本協會為依法設立、非以營利為目的之社會團體，以維護台灣天然攀岩活動場域之安全和生態保育、提升戶外攀岩專業知識與技術、推廣攀岩者安危自負精神，並促進台灣戶外攀岩活動之永續發展為宗旨。

After decades of development and self-independent management of Long Dong climbing community, we have been built up solid foundations and accumulated huge amount of resources for most of Long Dong rock climbing public affairs. In order to integrating all of these valuable resources, and setting up long term objectives for Long Dong and climbing community, we decided to build up “Taiwan Outdoor Climbers’ Coalition” as a non-profit national organization, hoping for set up a sound system for operating all public affairs of Long Dong, and officially cooperate with authorities, operating the most developed rock climbing area of Taiwan with more resources in the future. And we also hoping for set up an example, to promote the belief of “sustainable climbing” to all of the rock climbing areas throughout Taiwan.

TOCC has been founded according the law, as an non-profit organization to maintain the nature and safety of rock climbing area, promote outdoor rock climbing knowledge and techniques, and the spirit of self-responsibility for personal safety, to improve sustainable development of Taiwan outdoor rock climbing.
