遊隼育雛快訊 | BREEDING NEWS UPDATE

2025 2月 – 隼爸隼媽密集捕食、領域互動，開始進入繁殖期並築巢準備。 2025 3月 – 進入臥巢孵蛋階段，偶有年輕公隼入侵，隼爸驅逐護巢。 2025 4月 – 雛隼破殼孵化，逐漸由白絨轉長尾羽，行走活動增多。 2025 5月上旬 – 幼隼學步學飛，隼爸消失，由隼媽獨力照料餵食。 2025 5月中旬 – 幼隼離巢後展現飛行技巧，完成空中餌渡，逐步獨立。 2025 5月下旬 – 隼媽與外來公隼開始配對雙飛，幼隼遠飛未再出現。

2025 年春，龍洞的遊隼家族迎來新生命，從 2 月配對築巢、3 月孵蛋，到 4 月雛隼破殼成長。5 月幼隼練習飛行，歷經空中餌渡等關鍵學習歷程並成功離巢自立。隼爸失蹤後，隼媽最終接受外來公隼，共同活動並狩獵，宣告新配對關係的形成，期待在 2026 年，能再度看見遊隼在龍洞岩壁上延續生命的新篇章。

In the spring of 2025, the peregrine falcon family at Long Dong welcomed new life. From courtship and nest-building in February, to egg incubation in March, and the hatching and growth of chicks in April, the breeding season unfolded step by step. By May, the young falcons were practicing flight, undergoing crucial learning experiences such as mid-air food transfers, and ultimately fledging to become independent. After the disappearance of the original male falcon, the female eventually accepted a new male from outside the area. The pair began hunting and spending time together, marking the formation of a new bond. We look forward to witnessing a new chapter of life on the cliffs of Long Dong in 2026.
